Running a session in 2014 for the award winning 10X Tractor Restaurant in the Mornington Peninsula.

Want an experience to take your Martinis to the next level?

I offer a 2 hour experience that gives all the insights + skills you need to know to make the perfect Martini either at home, or to order one with confidence in any bar or restaurant.

One of the upsides of mixing and drinking more Martinis than I possibly should is that I know my way around a cocktail mixer and how to make the most of a wide range of Gins.

These popular sessions can be run at your place or in a venue. They can also can be tailored to suit the experience you’re after and size of group.



They include:

  • The basics of the making of Gin + Vodka and the back story of a wide range of labels including the new wave of Australian and imported craft Gins.
  • Introduction to Dry Vermouth and its uses
  • How to mix a perfect Martini
  • Garnishes and all the variations such as Dirty and Gibson Martinis
  • Sales and guest interaction narratives
  • How to use the Gins or Vodka you have on stock in a Martini
  • Hands-on mixing of a Martini of your choice, and a welcome cocktail on arrival.

If that sounds like a great night in, then please contact me to discuss the opportunity, rates vary on the scale and scope of the session.

There are three options  available:

      • a session for hospitality staff in your bar or restaurant
      • a private soiree at your home
      • public demonstration, such as I did for Floriade or at Pod Food

I bring all the stock and garnish, you just need to provide the venue, some nibbles and ice.

Sessions start from $75.00 per person with a minimum of three people.

      Great to hear from you! You’ll be pleased to know that the bottle of your Gin I purchased at Top Shelf found its way to Zambia as a special gift for a friend who moved there for love. I thought she’d want something that tasted of Australia, so I never got a chance to drink it, but a worthy cause I’m sure you’ll agree.

      Thanks for the suggestion of coming to Adelaide. I’ve no definite plans but I’m sure I can find an excuse now. 🙂 With enough notice and a little help to promote it locally I’m sure we can make something happen in the coming months.

    1. Hello Anna, well you know I’d love to work with the National Press Club team in making a special masterclass, for either your colleagues, or your members, or both! There are lots of ways we can mix it up.

      I’m up for several days at the end of June, then around mid July, then sometime later in August, etc so i’m sure we can make the planets align. 🙂

    1. Thanks! They are a lot of fun and its a buzz for me to see how proud people are when they make their first proper Martini! Well if I head to the USA sometime I’ll reach out and perhaps we can do a Canberra Martini On Tour experience in the land of the Martini sometime.

      I’ve just been invited to run two classes at the popular Floriade festival in Canberra in September, so that will be very exciting.

      1. Yes I will- i think-they’ll give me more details closer to the time. I’ll be doing 2 x 1 hour sessions for 30 people each time… Quite an honour to be asked!
