Welcome to this month’s update!

In the past while I’ve been focussed mostly on the series pilot and we’ve been able to pitch to several production houses of late and are getting a good response, but we still have a ways to go.  It’s been quite the journey so far, and one is learning a lot along the way.

The plan is to partner with a production company, one with international track record and who has delivered content to streamers, which my US based producer will then pitch directly to the streaming platforms in the US and Australia.  We’d shoot around Australia, but sell the show internationally for maximum audience reach.

So far so good, wish me luck!

I’ve also been adding more content to my YouTube channel, with new clips each week including a new series, Amplify. These are short clips introducing specially chosen by myself various craft spirits.  If you are a distiller, or represent one, there are packages available to be included in the series, then please get in touch.   There are over 100 videos on the channel including interviews with distillers, tips, recipes and more, so please subscribe to stay in the loop.

Also, I’ve just added several more distillers to my directory of Australian and New Zealand makers just now also, they keep coming! There is a challenge for most who struggle to get market share, with a few big players dominating the various spirits categories (which is why I do what I do, highlighting the smaller players), and it’s tough times to be a distiller right now, but they still come up with new expressions of their spirits.
