Finally, the planets are aligning, and we are moving forward on this long-term project, the production of Masters of Distilling!

I’ve established a Gofundme to raise the production costs we will need to produce a very high-quality series of five episodes for YouTube initially, then as the audience reaches critical mass, we will pitch it to a streaming platform for a full-scale series (which will require several million dollars all up) via my colleagues at Voyage Media.

I will also seek additional funds via government grants and other sources to match the funds I raise via this initiative.

So I’m looking to raise initially AUD$150,000 to cover travel around Australia for several weeks with a top crew from Butter Media, post-production, music, graphics etc. I’ll be using, just as I did for the pilot, some of the best Australian talent out there to create the series.

Naturally,  these things don’t come cheap, but based on the work for the pilot to date, I am confident we can create something of quality with compelling stories, that does justice to the talented people in the Australian distilling scene around the country.

Who knows, this may be the next Grand Designs!
